Siem Symphony at Orskov Yard

Siem Offshore, one of our many good North European offshore clients, has drydocked 7 of their Offshore Support Vessels at Orskov Yard within the last 12 months. A detailed understanding of our customers needs during drydocking, has resulted in a good and valuable working relationship between the two companies, where time, quality, and cost-effectiveness are of highest priority.

The last Siem drydocking at Orskov Yard this year was carry out on the PSV Siem Symphony in November, where a 5-year class survey was conducted. The dry docking was performed within 10 days, and included among others hull treatment, cleaning of 16 box-coolers and replacement of gaskets, re-certification of cranes and davids, overhaul of bow, tunnel and Azimuth thrusters in our workshop supervised by Maker and overhaul of Steerprop Main Propulsion Units.

Siem Symphony is now back in service in the Northern part of Norway.
