Injury prevention starts with structure, data and culture

Being committed to the future starts with protecting people. At Orskov Yard, we back our commitment to health and safety with internationally recognized standards and a culture of continuous improvement.

We are proud to be certified according to:

✅ ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
✅ ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
✅ ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management)

These certifications ensure that our processes meet global standards and that we work systematically with risk assessment, prevention, and improvement.

?Data-driven safety in action?

At Orskov Yard, we track everything, from minor cuts to serious deviations. Why? Because detailed data is key to understanding risks and hazards. This approach enables us to identify patterns and conduct thorough root cause analysis.

Our employees use a dedicated safety app to report near misses and real-time observations. Reports go straight to our Production Manager and QHSE team for immediate follow-up and learning.

And the impact is evident:

? Accidents are decreasing as we react faster and more effectively.

As we have made it easier, more visible, and more encouraging for employees to focus on safety, we ensure that every employee has the right and obligation to stop unsafe work.

And of course, “Safety Niels”, along with our green-helmeted safety reps, are always present, reminding us that safety is everyone’s responsibility.

? Recently, we further strengthened our commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability by welcoming Benny Møller Meyer to Orskov Yard as our new QHSE & Sustainability Manager. The recruitment of Benny to this newly established role reflects our growing focus on maintaining the highest standards in quality, health & safety, and environmental responsibility across all areas of our operations.
