9 new apprentices at Orskov Yard
This week, we are excited to welcome no less than 9 new apprentices who begin their training at Orskov Yard as maritime blacksmiths and ship fitters. With this substantial addition of new talents, we now employ a total of 37 apprentices across our teams and departments.
It’s encouraging to see young people opting for vocational training in the maritime sector. It is beneficial not only for us, but for the future of the whole maritime sector in Northern Denmark.
At Orskov Yard, we aim for at least 10% of our blue-collar workforce to be in training programs. A target we consistently exceed as part of our commitment to building a strong apprenticeship culture.
Educating young people is a responsibility we take very seriously and a key element of our strategy. With a focused intake of apprentices, we are securing the skills, knowledge, and craftmanship that will shape and define Orskov Yard in the future.
Please give a warm welcome to: Casper Pedersen, Andreas Møller Lyth, Mikkel Bugge Back Mortensen, Lasse Novrup Kristensen, Magnus Arly Albertsen, Toke Krogsgaard, Oscar Bressay Arensbach, Lukas Verkerke, and Jens-Kristian D. Jensen ?
